Strait GunsmokeNsugar is the first colored foal from Strait From Texas' first foal crop & is owned exclusively by Fischer Farms. Buddy as he is known around the farm, has the conformation and laid back disposition coupled with great athleticism that is admired by paint and quarter horse owners alike.
During his three year old year Buddy competed in the APHA World Reining Challenge as well as in National Reined Cowhorse Association events. After his successful three year old year, in which was named by Equi-Stat as the 2000 NRCHA Limited Open Horse of the Year, Buddy spent his four year old year competing in APHA events and was the winner of the APHA Open Top Twenty.
