Strait From Texas

"A Champion Forever"
In Our Hearts & The Record Books

May 26, 1992 - March 13, 2006

Although gone in body, Strait lives on in our memories and in the impact that he made and will continue to make for decades to come in the cow bred paint horse industry.

Ever the competitor Strait fought to the bitter end while under the care of a full team of university veterinarians.

We are so very thankful for each and every day that Strait blessed us with his presence. We will be reminded of the joy and privilege to be able to work with such a stallion each and every time we watch one of his sons or daughters.

As a horse that literally re-wrote the APHA record books, made careers and filled seats with spectators, we know that we are not alone in our sadness and grief. He will be missed by many.

Strait From Texas; gone, but never forgotten.
